At last, I have just started making things this year.
First try for this year is playing around with the rest of fused metals from last year.
Because of the remains of fused metals, it means that the metals were cut off, and might not fused properly.
So, here the metals which are made patterns by using those remains are…
Not good at all!!
We can see many non-fused parts which are showing black lines like scratches.
So next I have tried making patterns using one of those remains which looks well fused.
It is hard to see its patterns but, it can hardly be seen any scratches or black marks on the surface.
It reminds me that fusing process is the most crucial part for making Mokume gane.
